Honorable Condoleezza Rice
Condoleezza Rice is the Denning Professor in Global Business and the Economy at the Stanford Graduate School of Business; the Thomas and Barbara Stephenson Senior Fellow on Public Policy at the Hoover Institution; and a professor of Political Science at Stanford University. She is also a founding partner of RiceHadleyGates LLC.
Dr. Rice served as the 66th Secretary of State of the United States (2005-2009) and as National Security Advisor (2001-2005). She served as Stanford University’s Provost (1993-1999). From 1989 through March 1991, Dr. Rice served on the President’s National Security Council staff. Previously, she served as Director; Senior Director of Soviet and East European Affairs; and Special Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs.
Dr. Rice earned a bachelor’s degree in political science, cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from the University of Denver; a master’s from the University of Notre Dame; and a Ph.D. from the Graduate School of International Studies at the University of Denver. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and has been awarded ten honorary doctorates.

Mr. Siebel is the founder and chief executive officer of C3 AI, a computer software company that provides a Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) applications for rapidly developing and operating enterprise-scale big data, predictive analytics, AI, and IoT solutions.
Mr. Siebel was the founder and chief executive officer of Siebel Systems, one of the world’s leading software companies. Founded in 1993, Siebel Systems pioneered the CRM software market, becoming the global leader with more than 8,000 employees in 32 countries, over 4,500 corporate customers, and annual revenue in excess of $2 billion in less than seven years. Siebel Systems merged with Oracle Corporation in January 2006.
Mr. Siebel is the chairman of the Thomas and Stacey Siebel Foundation. Established in 1996, the Foundation funds projects to support energy solutions, educational and research programs, public health, and the homeless and underprivileged. In 2015 the Foundation launched the Siebel Energy Institute, a global consortium for innovative and collaborative energy research for the public domain. The Siebel Energy Institute fosters research collaboration among premier universities and spurs the greatest minds in engineering and computer science to address the most pressing energy challenges of our time.
Mr. Siebel serves on the College of Engineering boards at the University of Illinois and the University of California, Berkeley. He is a director of the Hoover Institution at Stanford University and is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
Mr. Siebel is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in History, an M.B.A., and a Master of Science in Computer Science. Lorenzo Simonelli is Chairman and CEO of Baker Hughes (NYSE: BKR), an energy technology company that combines innovation, expertise, and scale to provide solutions for customers worldwide.
Mr. Simonelli was named Chairman in October 2017 and has been President and CEO since the Company’s creation in July 2017, where he oversaw the merger of GE Oil & Gas with Baker Hughes Inc.
Previously, Mr. Simonelli served as President and CEO of GE Oil & Gas and President and CEO of GE Transportation. He also served as CFO Americas for GE Consumer & Industrial, as well as General Manager, Product Management for GE Appliances, Lighting, Electrical Distribution and Motors. Mr. Simonelli joined GE’s Financial Management Program in 1994.
He is a Business & Economics Graduate from Cardiff University.

Ed Abbo is President and Chief Technology Officer at C3 AI, where he leads C3 AI’s strategy and execution, including technology direction, innovation, and customer success.
Prior to C3 AI, Mr. Abbo was Senior Vice President at Oracle Corporation, where he was responsible for its application products. Prior to joining Oracle in 2006, he was Senior Vice President of Engineering and Chief Technology Officer for Siebel Systems.

Judson Althoff

Judson Althoff is executive vice president of Microsoft’s Worldwide Commercial Business (WCB), which drives commercial business strategy for enterprise, public sector, small and mid-market, services, developer and partner communities.
Althoff joined the company in March 2013 as president of Microsoft North America. In this role, he was responsible for commercial and public sector customers and partners, the retail and operator channel, and consumer business across the U.S. and Canada. Under his leadership, Microsoft North America achieved double-digit revenue growth in a $30 billion business and triple-digit cloud growth.
Earlier in his career, Althoff spent several years in senior sales roles at Oracle and EMC. He earned a mechanical engineering degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT), serves on IIT’s Computer Science Advisory Board and is a co-chair of Free the Children’s Seattle WE Day.
Johan Krebbers

Johan Krebbers is Shell’s VP IT Innovation and GM Emerging Digital Technologies, based in Amsterdam. He is responsible for defining and driving the future IT strategy for Shell and identifying new digital technologies. In addition, Mr. Krebbers maintains active connections with external parties, particularly with startups. Previously, Mr. Krebbers was the VP of Architecture for Shell, where he created and developed the global architecture practice across the company. In his multi-decade career at Shell, Mr. Krebbers has held many different IT roles across multiple locations.
Daniel Jeavons
General Manager of Data Science, Shell
Dan Jeavons has led the multi-award winning Shell Data Science Centre of Excellence since its inception in 2013, growing the team to around 160 individuals. In 2018, he was recognized in the UK’s top 50 data leaders, and his team received the Hackett Award for Data Analytics that year.
He has been a significant contributor to Shell’s digital strategy, which has delivered over $1 billion in cost reductions, production increases, and additional customer margins. His team’s work has been recently publicized in mainstream journals like Forbes, the Wall Street Journal, and the Financial Times.
He began his career as a consultant in Accenture’s upstream practice before joining Shell in 2008. Subsequently, he worked in the CIO Office, and then in architecture before joining the technology division in 2013.
Brice Rosenzweig

Brice Rosenzweig is the Global co-Head of the Data and Innovation Group at Bank of America. Prior to that, he was the Global Co-Head of The Quantitative Strategies group. Mr. Rosenzweig joined Bank of America in London in 2011. Before joining the Bank, he worked at Goldman Sachs for 14 years in fixed income and equity quantitative strategies across New York, Tokyo, and Hong Kong. Mr. Rosenzweig holds a degree in applied statistics from École Nationale de la Statistique et de l’Administration Économique and a MSc in Applied Mathematics in Economics from Universite Paris IX Dauphine.
Scott Parent
Scott Parent is Vice President of Engineering & Technology for Baker Hughes. He is responsible for the enterprise engineering community, strategic marketing, additive manufacturing as well as oversees four innovation centers in the US, India, and Saudi Arabia.
Mr. Parent most recently was Chief Operating Officer of GE’s Distributed Power business where he led engineering, sourcing, and manufacturing. Previously, he was Vice President of Technology, Operations at BP, and before joining BP was Vice President of Engineering & Technology for Drilling and Evaluation at Baker Hughes.
Mr. Parent has deep expertise in robotics, analytics, and machine learning. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maine, and a master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
Nikhil Krishnan, PhD

At C3, Nikhil is responsible for all Product Management and AI/ Machine Learning. Prior to C3 AI, Dr. Krishnan was an Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company, where he was a leader in McKinsey’s Advanced Industrials and Energy Practices. Dr. Krishnan was formerly an Assistant Professor at Columbia University. He also worked as an engineer at Applied Materials Inc. Dr. Krishnan earned a bachelor’s degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and MS and PhD degrees from the University of California at Berkeley in Mechanical Engineering.
Zico Kolter, PhD
Associate Professor, Computer Science Department, Carnegie Mellon University
Zico Kolter is Associate Professor of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University. In addition to his full-time role at CMU, he also serves as Chief Scientist of AI Research for the Bosch Center for AI (BCAI). Previously, he was Chief Data Scientist at C3 AI.
At CMU, his group’s research focuses on machine learning, optimization, and control. Much of the work aims at making deep learning algorithms safer, more robust, and more explainable. The group also focuses on several application domains, with a particular focus on smart energy and sustainability.
Commander Thomas Sampson
Chief Information Officer, F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Program Office, US Navy
Commander Thomas Sampson is the Chief Information Officer responsible for the F-35 Lightning II Joint Program Office’s current and future information systems. CDR Sampson’s 20+ years of leadership and execution experience, 13 years in large scale project and program management, and multiple positions in digital development provide the program office a new view on how to manage processes and move to data-driven decision making.
CDR Sampson earned a Bachelor of Political Science from SUNY Buffalo, a Masters of IT Management, and Master of Business Administration from The American University. He was enlisted as a Naval Aircrewman then designated Naval Aviator.
He has flown in support of Patrol Squadron One and Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Light Four Four embarked in USS OSCAR AUSTIN. Shore tours include multiple staffs and theater commands.
Dulce Borjas
VP & CIO, ENGIE North America
Dulce Borjas was named CIO of ENGIE North America in 2013, where she leads IT and digital initiatives for the ENGIE North America business unit. She is also responsible for the ENGIE Smart Institutions product that ENGIE and C3 AI are building collaboratively on the C3 AI Platform.
Ms. Borjas has deep experience in energy and IT, having spent nearly her whole career driving digital transformation in the energy industry. Prior to joining ENGIE in 2003, she began her career designing and implementing solutions for a regulated power utility. From customer care systems to computer telephony, her focus on achieving efficiencies through technical solutions provided considerable savings for the business.
Ms. Borjas holds a BS degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Florida International University.
Jennifer Austin

Jennifer Austin is the Development & Implementation Leader for 3M’s Enterprise Operations Digitization and Advanced Analytics (D&AA) group. She is responsible for setting and executing the processes by which the organization delivers on its goal of creating a Digital Twin to drive business decisions and value creation.
Ms. Austin has been at 3M for more than 23 years. Before joining 3M D&AA, Ms. Austin held leadership roles in 3M Connect, 3M Integration Management Office, and 3M Health Information Systems, as well as a variety of roles in the 3M Commercial Graphics Division.
Ms. Austin holds a BS in environmental engineering and a BS in biology from Michigan Technological University, and an MS in Public Health from the University of Minnesota.

CDR Sampson will describe how the F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) – the Defense Department’s agency responsible for developing and acquiring the F-35 – is leveraging the C3 AI Platform to increase mission readiness through AI and machine learning (ML). He will discuss the impact of AI and ML on the F-35’s capabilities, operations, deployment, and sustainment. C3 Ai Integrated Development Studio
Join Nikolai Oudalov, Senior Product Manager, and his team for an overview and demonstration of the C3 Ai Integrated Development Studio, the low-code/no-code user interface for the C3 AI Platform. The C3 Ai IDS provides a set of tools designed to enhance the end-to-end development cycle, enabling users to build, test, deploy, and operate full-fledged C3 AI Applications. Development tools include UI Manager, for UI development; ML Studio, for ML modelling; Data Management, for data integration; and Expression Designer, for analyzing and developing timeseries data. Operation tools include Release Management and Deployment Pipeline that respectively address the integrated CI and CD processes within the C3 AI Platform.
