C3 AI is looking for a hands-on demand generation leader to build and run the programs that create qualified pipeline. This is a player-coach role — you set the strategy and stay close to the execution, shipping campaigns yourself and owning the number they produce. Success is measured by the qualified pipeline and revenue your programs generate.

You will decide what qualifies as a marketing-qualified lead, own the handoff and follow-up that turn those leads into opportunities, and build the analytics practice that shows what is working and where to spend next. Increasingly that means putting AI to work across the engine, from campaign production to how enterprise buyers discover C3 AI through AI-driven search. You will partner daily across Sales and Business Development, Product Marketing, Alliances and Field Marketing, Communications and Content, Marketing Operations, and Web.

It is a foundational role for someone who wants to build and shape a function in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Demand Gen. Manage the demand generation metrics, budget, return on spend and any agency or media partners, and move investment toward what converts.
  • Put campaigns into market, and keep improving them. Build, launch, and run integrated campaigns across the channels that reach C3 AI's buyers, then read the results, test, and adjust creative, targeting, and spend on a regular cadence.
  • Define the MQL and own the motion after it. Set the qualification and scoring model for a marketing-qualified lead with Sales as a shared agreement, and own the lifecycle that follows — nurture, routing, follow-up, and conversion through to opportunity.
  • Stand up an analytics-driven practice. Build the measurement layer — attribution, funnel and channel reporting, and a regular operating rhythm — and report performance and insight to Marketing and company leadership.
  • Put AI to work in the engine. Use AI tools to scale campaign production, analysis, and personalization, and help C3 AI stay visible as enterprise buyers increasingly research through AI search and assistants.
  • Work across the company. Partner with Sales, Product Marketing, Alliances, Communications, and Web to turn shared goals into coordinated programs, support major events and announcements, and mentor the team as it grows.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field
  • 6 to 10 years in demand generation, growth, or digital marketing at a B2B enterprise software or SaaS company, with a track record of owning a pipeline number.
  • A hands-on operator. You build and run campaigns yourself and are fluent in the demand generation stack — marketing automation (Marketo), CRM, ad platforms, and analytics tools.
  • You are fluent in the funnel — attribution, conversion, and lead scoring — you turn data into decisions, and you have defined MQL criteria and the handoff to Sales.
  • An owner. You are a self-starter who builds from a blank page, manages budgets and agencies, and ships on time in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong communicator. You write and speak well, build trust across teams, and lead through influence.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AI fluency. You understand AI and machine learning well enough to shape credible, substantive content and campaigns for a technical enterprise audience, engage product and technical teams directly, and use AI tools in your own workflow.
  • An MBA, ideally from a top-tier program.
  • Strong, versatile writing. You write well across formats, from long-form pieces to web and email copy, and can build an argument that holds a reader's attention.
  • ABM and intent tooling. Hands-on experience with account-based marketing and intent or signal-based platforms.
  • Relevant domain. Background in AI, data and analytics, or enterprise IT markets, and hands-on support of events or communications programs.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
