HOUSTON, Texas and REDWOOD CITY, Calif. — June 30, 2025 — Univation Technologies, a global leader in petrochemical technology licensing, and C3 AI (NYSE: AI), the Enterprise AI application software company, have entered into a strategic cooperation agreement to commercialize AI-powered predictive maintenance solutions tailored for the petrochemical industry.
With this agreement, Univation will license and distribute the C3 AI software currently in use at Dow, Univation’s parent company. In addition, Univation will provide specialized technical services to support both the initial implementation and ongoing enhancements of the software for customers.
Univation’s new C3 AI–powered offering integrates extensive operational insights and benefits from Dow’s ongoing C3 AI application deployment, drawing upon the proven benefits of the C3 AI Asset Performance Suite. This technology, already in use across more than 50 steam cracker furnace operations within Dow’s global petrochemical facilities, is being expanded to additional furnaces and other critical asset classes.
